The very last Common Threads exhibit

Common Threads started off as a vehicle to showcase the artwork of C.a. Shofed in a place near his home town. It stopped being about him almost immediately and morphed into a vehicle that showcased the artistic talents of artists that live or are based in Trenton. C.a. Shofed is very proud of what Common Threads has become and the community that gathers to celebrate the artists chosen to be part of this event each and every year. It's hard for all of us to believe that it's been 7 years. C.a. Shofed has made the decision the CT7 will be the last Common Threads. “There isn't a better place for me to end it then to have the last show be in Trenton.” Common Threads will live on in another iteration as an online gallery that will finally be finished in the new year and with all the popup shows C.a. Shofed and staff will be part of under the Common Threads Gallery banner. Being a curator was never C.a. Shofed’s goal. He is an artist. That part of his career is growing. “I need to concentrate on nurturing those things. I refuse to do things half assed! So the thing that has to go is the thing I think has suffered the most.” Please make sure to support the artists at Common Threads 7. I think you'll all enjoy what CT7 is trying to do this time around.
